NIDAS
NIDAS is an acronym for Networked Information Display & Automation Software. It's an OpenComputers HUD program written by Sampsa, capable of running in-game as a control for power networks, fluid/power monitoring, ore processing, notification of Maintenance issues, AE2 autostockingauto-stocking and infusion automation. The source code for NIDAS can be found on GitHub, and its documentation can be found here. Progress into late HV-tier, preferably EV, is required to setup NIDAS as T3 components use Titanium. <br>
Most people set up NIDAS when they unlock the Lapotronic Supercapacitor.

Installing NIDAS
Below is a guide to installing NIDAS, however there is also a well made Youtube tutorial.
* You need to be at least in late HV-tier, preferably EV, to get started with NIDAS due to needing Titanium.

** look in the Quest Book under the "SFM and Computers" tab to get started.

* Get an OpenComputer Case T3 and equip it with a T3 CPU, T3 GPU, at least 1 stick of T3.5 RAM, an internet card, a T2 wireless network card, at least a T2 hard disk drive, etc. Not sure how?
NIDAS requires a top end OpenComputers computer or server to run, with the specs listed below. It can also be configured as a main/local server setup with multiple machines for larger bases. In that case only the local devices will need component busses.
** Computer Case (Tier 3)
** Central Processing Unit (CPU) (Tier 3)
** Graphics Card (Tier 3)
** Memory (Tier 3.5)
** Component Bus (Tier 3), possibly multiple
** Internet Card
** Wireless Network Card (Tier 2)
** Hard Disk Drive (minimum Tier 2, Tier 3 recommended)
** Screen (Tier 3)

** Install OpenOS
** Install NIDAS (copy into the shell and press enter).<syntaxhighlight lang="bash">
