The Gregtech Implosion Compressor is a multiblock that compresses various inputs using explosives such as powder barrels, dynamite, TNT, and industrial TNT. Most notably, it is used to make compressed metal plates for all tiers of rockets. It can also be used as an alternative to the Laser Precision Engraver when upgrading Gems.

This multiblock generates 10000 pollution per second.

Useful Tips

It is in any player's best interest to put the highest tier muffler possible on this multiblock because it generates a whopping 10000 pollution per second.

Furthermore, since the implosion compressor simply generates 10000 pollution for every second that it is running, it is also in the player's best interest to upgrade the voltage tier of the implosion compressor to cut down on the recipe time, and thus, pollution.

The higher tier galacticraft rockets will start to require compressed plates that require ever-growing amounts of explosives. For this reason, it might be good for the player to, at some point, set up an automated explosive line. Industrial TNT is preferred because of its efficiency in many high tier ingot compression recipes.
