Should be very similar to 2.3.7 with some more bug fixes.

Planned Features for after 2.4.0

* Make the Crafting Input Buffers visible in the interface terminal. You can use build, or compile this branch to already try this yourself. Use at your own risk, make backups, etc.

Breaking Changes

A list of potentially breaking changes since the last stable release (so 2.3.0 to latest). You might need to account for some of these things in your setups when updating. Both large and small.

  • Benzene blacklisted in XL turbine
  • Low-grade plasmas nerfed in XL turbine (https://github.com/GTNewHorizons/GTplusplus/pull/649 and several further commits).
  • Removed the Extra Cells mod.
  • Removed the Disassembler.
  • Many GT multis now support input separation and void protection. you might want to check they are configured as you would want.
  • UEV+ parts now need Tengam.
  • Multiple changes to the bee production formula.
  • Lightning rods can now break https://github.com/GTNewHorizons/GT5-Unofficial/pull/1875.
  • Changed recipe for LV solars.
  • Changed output rate for super and quantum tanks now given by the pump used in making them.
  • The basic heat vent now needs water for coolant cooling.
  • Changed LFTR line https://github.com/GTNewHorizons/GTplusplus/pull/584
  • Changed electrolysis recipes for various materials that contain aluminium. Including clay.
  • Removed GT variants of stone plate, stone rod, and reinforced glass plate. The Coremod variant is used everywhere.
  • Removed GT-Lanthanides variants of Formaldehyde, Hydrazine, Hydrogen Peroxide, and Monomethylhydrazine. The GT++ variant is used everywhere. (this might also cause existing ones to void if you store anything)
  • Removed the old LCR rocket fuels that had been deprecated for a while (LMP-103S, Monomethylhydrazine Fuel Mix, and UnsymmetricalDimethylhydrazineFuelMix).
  • Slight changes to Nitrobenzene (its a buff but you will still need to change things).
  • Changed AL recipes for Dyson parts.
  • The LEG no longer allows for lasers.
  • A few niche metals can no longer be smelted in a furnace: Tartarite, Ceruclase, Vulcanite, and Mithril
  • The metadata for the Lapotron Crystal recipe was fixed. One likely needs to adjust existing AE2 patterns though.
  • Removed various broken/extreme niche machines from gt++ including Breaker Box, Iron Blast Furnace, Generator Array, Tesla's Last Testament.
  • The mixer recipe for grisium and the QFT recipe for glue are changed due to bug fixes.
  • The recipe for the Solid Steel Machine Casing now needs a circuit to avoid recipe conflicts.
  • Making Ammonia from Nitrogen and Hydrogen now needs a circuit.
  • Backbone AE cables are now deprecated, but will still be around in 2.4.0.
  • Mica Based Sheet recipe needs a circuit now.

(This list is probably incomplete.)
